Polish New Year's Eve Ball Poster

An A2 poster designed in Illustrator for the Polish National Home in Glen Cove, NY, advertising their annual New Year's Eve Ball. Vervelle is used for the display font, taking inspiration from NYE posters the client found online that featured handwritten script fonts. Futura is used for the body copy for its clean sans serif look, its high legibility, and its support of the Polish language including all of the necessary diacritics (tails, strokes, overdots). The Vervelle font, background texture, and star vectors were purchased through PixelSurplus. The firework, champagne bottle, and champagne flute vectors were designed on paper by hand and were traced with the pen tool in Adobe Illustrator.
