Polish Disco Poster

An A2 poster designed in Adobe Illustrator for the Polish National Home in Glen Cove, NY, advertising a new disco/mixer. This party was being hosted with the intention of bringing younger Polish speaking people into the Polish National Home, so the poster had to be appealing to younger viewers while also not excluding older viewers and current Polish National Home members from the invitation. ITC Avant Garde Gothic Pro is used for the body copy for its clean sans serif look, its variety of weights, its high legibility, and its support of the Polish language including all of the necessary diacritics (tails, strokes, overdots). The CC Speeding Bullet display font was purchased on PixelSurplus and the background photograph was downloaded from Pexels.
